SULFIKA® SB–C can be applied in any development phase of the plants, and it can be used for the majority of grown annual and perennial crops to remove latent as well as apparent sulphur and boron deficit. Its application proves best in the early development phase and in the period of the most intensive growth, which is also the time when the fungicidal effect of the fertilizer can be utilized well.

The fertilizer can be applied together with liquid nitrogen fertilizers (DAM 390, urea solution).
Sulphur has an impact on nitrogen metabolism and is an essential element for protein biosynthesis; it also forms part of aminoacids, enzymes, vitamins, glycosides and other compounds which affect plant defensive mechanisms. Sulphur deficit causes negative manifestations from early growth phases already, until the ripening phase, and reduces considerably the crop yield and quality. Content of the main components of the plants becomes reduced: oils, sugars, starches etc. (in oilseeds, sugarbeet, potato etc.). Boron is important for assimilate transport from chloroplasts and leaves into storage organs, supports cellular membrane construction and stability, is important for formation of generative organs, supports higher osmotic pressure, thus increasing resistance of the plants against low temperatures. Boron deficit worsens storage life of the crops.
The recommended fertilizer dose 5 kg/ha can be diluted with water from 200 to 1000 l/ha based on the sprayer type and condition of the plants. In perennial crops, repeated application is recommended after 14-21 days.
In winter rape, it is recommended to divide the dose to 2×2.5 kg/ha during the vegetation phase.
